Acceptance of Order:
All orders are subject to acceptance by our company officer. Our acceptance should not be construed as an acceptance of printed terms and conditions on the purchase order from the buyer unless specified in writing by our authorized officer. No sales representative, agent, or employee of our company is authorized to alter, vary, or waive any of these terms and conditions.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Our prices do not include any present or future sales, use, excise, or other municipal, state/provincial, or federal taxes. Consequently, in addition to the prices specified herein, the Buyer agrees to reimburse us for any and all taxes that may become payable with respect to this transaction.
We shall deliver goods F.O.B. point of shipment with transportation charges prepaid, via the lowest cost routing to the destination, unless otherwise specified by the Buyer. We shall deliver the goods as soon as possible after receipt of the order; however, the stated time of delivery is an estimate only, and we shall not be liable for delayed delivery or non-delivery caused by various circumstances. These include but are not limited to strikes, lockouts, fires, accidents, war, riots, a shortage of or an inability to obtain material, supplies, fuel, labor, or shipping facilities, and on account of any acts, demands, orders, or regulations of the municipal, state, or federal governments, and any departments or agencies thereof. We shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery or non-delivery caused by any contingency beyond our reasonable control. Our time for making delivery shall not be extended for the duration of any such delays, except that if any such delay extends for more than six months, we shall have the option of canceling the undelivered portion of the order. In no event shall the contract of sale be subject to cancellation by the Buyer as a result of delays in delivery or for any other cause, except by mutual, written agreement of the parties. Shipping charges and handling fees are non-refundable.
All Vertical Doors Kit Inc. systems are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The shocks have a warranty for 6 months on any standard shocks. Effective March 1, 2013:
1) Please be advised that all shipping charges will be the customer’s sole responsibility. Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. will not pay for the cost of this expense.
2) On all “Universal Kits,” and “Best Fit Kits” Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. will honor a 30-day warranty on the shocks. Please be advised that all shipping charges will be the customer’s sole responsibility. Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. will not pay for the cost of this expense. If you need to file a warranty claim, you must have the original invoice to make the warranty valid.
Condition of Sale:
All sales are final, and all products are sold by Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. (The Seller) to the Buyer. Pricing and stock availability are subject to change without notice.
Disclaimer:
Please be aware that if a package is stolen after delivery, the liability will rest with the buyer. As each kit is a high-value item, neither the delivery service nor Vertical Doors Canada, Inc. can refund or replace a package once it has been delivered and left at the recipient’s door. If you are not at home on the scheduled delivery date, you have the option to contact the delivery service to hold the package at a nearby location for convenient pickup at your preferred time.
Returns:
Authorization to return any and all products must be obtained by the Buyer from Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. in advance and must be made within seven (7) days of receiving the product. All returned products to Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The buyer must pay for all shipping and handling fees on any returns to Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. All products approved for return are for store credit only. Products returned for credit must be in the original manufacturer’s carton and in the same condition as originally delivered by Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. to the Buyer. Only the original Buyer may request a return of products. All warranty cards and other items must be included with the product being returned. Defective items may be exchanged for the same item only, and only after the warranty has been cleared by the original manufacturer. After receiving goods, Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. shall inspect them to determine the exact quantity and condition of goods received. If Vertical Doors Kit, Inc. does not accept the goods as being defective and/or returnable for any reason, the Buyer must accept incurred costs.
Damage on Arrival (DOA) Return Policy:
Product that is Damaged “out of the box” is considered DOA and subject to the following procedure:
– The buyer should check all products upon receipt. Any damaged product must be reported to our Customer Service Department within five (5) working days of receipt.
– DOA products covered by insurance will be replaced but must be returned in the original packing container, including original packing materials, manuals, etc., and must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and an RMA number from our Customer Service Department or sales@verticaldoorscanada.com. The buyer must pay for all shipping and handling fees on any returns to Vertical Doors Kit Inc.
Return Merchandise Authorization (INVOICE NUMBER):
We reserve the right to issue an Invoice number based on the manufacturer’s product warranty to us. No return will be permitted on any products that have been abused or modified in any way, except by our Technical Department. This modification includes the removal or attempted modification of any identification labels attached to the product at the time of purchase. ALL RETURNS MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKING CONTAINER, INCLUDING ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIALS, CABLES, MANUALS, ETC., AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE. THE INVOICE NUMBER MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED ON THE SHIPPING CONTAINER, OTHERWISE, THE RETURN MERCHANDISE SHIPMENT IS SUBJECT TO REFUSAL BY US. (The INVOICE NUMBER must be obtained from our Customer Service Department)
a. PRODUCT RETURN FOR DEFECT OR TECHNICAL REASONS:
All requests for return authorization due to defects or technical problems must be handled by our Customer Service Department and authorized by the Customer Service Manager.
b. PRODUCT RETURN FOR NON-DEFECT OR NON-TECHNICAL REASONS:
Both the Sales Manager and the Customer Service Manager must approve such returns. THESE RETURNS WILL BE ASSESSED A 25% RESTOCKING FEE, based on the original sale price. No refunds after 14 days.
c. SHIPPING DAMAGE:
We ship all products insured unless otherwise stated. If a product is received damaged in shipment, a notation should be made on the carrier delivery document and a copy retained for return with the product. A report for the damaged product must be requested within 24 hours of receipt of the damaged product.
d. SPECIAL ORDERS:
Products that are “special ordered
” will not be accepted for return.
e. ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGES AND HANDLING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Order Cancellation:
Any credit card or online order that is canceled prior to shipment will be charged at least a 15% transaction fee of the order’s total.

All Refunds are for Store Credit only. In the rare case, that the item does not fit properly, you MUST provide us with pictures from several different angles and/or videos showing the problem. Returns will not be accepted without proof.
The majority of products available at “Vertical Doors, Inc.” are returnable, but you must request a “Return Authorization Number” (RA #) within 7 days of receipt of the product. Items without an RA # will be refused by the manufacturer. All items must have an authorized RA # and be received in a new, unused, and ready-to-sell condition (including all original packaging, parts, and paperwork) to receive a refund. Please note: Shipping charges are non-refundable. Vertical Doors, Inc. does not accept returns on used items, custom-made or custom-painted products, or items shipped via truck freight. Vertical Doors, Inc. will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances.

If you’re trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following:
Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.
Vertical Doors Kits are made to order and it takes two to three weeks for the kits to be shipped out after payment has been received.
We ship via UPS Ground or another carrier of our choosing. If you need a different shipping method please let us know.
Shipping and Handling cost
There is a flat $98.00 shipping charge for the urban area to ship a full vertical door kit. Extra charges to ship to rural areas.
International Customers
International Customers are responsible for all taxes and/or duties
International orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item is defective or in the case of an error on our part.
